About SWECC
Southwest Chief's Conference
The Southwest Chiefs Association is a united body representing the traditional rulers of Fako, Kupe-Muanenguba, Lebialem, Manyu, Meme, and Ndian Divisions. Rooted in the shared historical, social, and cultural heritage of the indigenous population of the Southwest Region, we stand as custodians of tradition and voices of leadership within our communities. Recognizing the challenges posed by disunity, which has hindered regional growth and development, we are committed to fostering collaboration and mutual understanding among chiefs. Through shared experiences and best practices in governance, we aim to strengthen our leadership roles and work collectively for the advancement of our people and the nation.
